I am no Paris Hilton...

I am writing...one because I fear that if I don't Cindy will implode and two because I haven't in a while and I guess I should. I just wish my life was a little more interesting than it is. I went to Wichita this weekend with some girl friends and had a fun time going to a place called the Pumphouse it was an old gas station that they made into a bar. It was a fun time, even saw a very drunk boy get tazered by a bouncer and asked nicely (in a head lock) to leave. So yeah that was fun.

In general news my car is dead and has been for far too long now, it is a good thing I have the friends I do other wise I would be in the creek sans a paddle. Work is going well, and Blue Room is doing what it can to get by. I have a shoot with a band called Hour of Decision this week and the band I do promotions for has a show in Lawrence on Thursday, Rachel thought she and Gunar might go and I have asked both John and Justin to come as well. I had dinner with the three of them about a week ago, it was a good time, it is nice having our little group up here to see now and then.

I really wish I was more interesting for you Aunt Cindy...but really I am kind of boring. My day is normally spent at work, then home, dinner, photo editing, internet surfing, then bed. I promise as soon as I do something note worthy I will update...talk to you all later!

Heart you all...
Monica

?????

I have nothing to say, but I want to read what you all have to say, so since no one has written anything for me to read, I thought I would just write and bore you all to death in hopes that you would then write something!! I am done with winter....done with the cold.....done with the snow, but it appears it is not done with me. I live in NM for reasons...one of those is the weather which does not include snow being on the ground longer than an afternoon. Another one is NM blue...the skies that is.....oh, they are still blue, but when I see that blue I expect warm....and it has not been warm. The mts are beautiful with the snow on them, but I can see that while it is warm down here. Just wish it were warm down here. Pam I know you are ready for Spring, because that would mean that tax season is over. I haven't even gotten my W2 yet!! Well, once again that strange, weird thing with the ringing of the bells is going on....the bells ring and these KIDS descend upon me destroying my peace and quiet...and what they want me to do with them, I still have not figured out....obviously not what I want to do with them.

Well, gotta goo......opps....go....someone write, respond....do something!! Lvo eyou all..Cindy

The new year

Hi to all,
just ran across some words that I thought were appropriate for the new year and for the world today.
so, in the words of Emma Goldman, and early 1900s anarcho-feminist:

"I wish you more for the new year than words can express, peace of mind and rest of your body, supreme satisfaction in your personal life, and in your work much joy and some happyness snatched from a mad and bloodthirsty world"

in peace

Nicole
