Hello Out There!

So where has everybody been?

Rach-How was your visit with Mel? Monica- How are you feeling? Aimee- How is the end of the semester going? When are finals? Aunt Pam- Are you resting now that Tax season is over, for now? Mama-Have you been working and having fun in your studio? Jeremy-How are things looking with moving back to KS?

Why are we the only ones on this? Where is everyone else? Kathy have you figured this out yet? Should I come over and help you figure it out? :) Where are the other Flowers'? those taht have Sprenkle as their last name? Teresa?Has anyone sent a link/invitation to join to the California Sprenkles?

Well, I suposse I should do something else other than ask a bunch of questions. I went home for a few days before Easter and it was nice. Mom's new carpet is very nice; Paul and Val are doing well (She plays soccer well and Paul-What an awesome coach he is!!); Jessie is as busy as ever, going going going...; and mom, well she is never home and is having fun! The sadest part of going home was the realization that I am really old. I went dancing one night and didnt get to bed until 2:00. I did not do well the next day! I was so very tired! Old I tell you! Old! It was a ton of fun though! Not much else is happening. I have a backpacking trip scheduled for Memorial day and I am going to a strawberry festival is a couple weeks. I am very excited!! That is all for now. Love you all!

Easter

Hey all, just to update I am feeling much better, I seem to have gotten the wicked pnuemonia out of my system and am back on track. I had a BUSY but good weekend full of fun and excitement as always. Work was very busy with all the little ones in thier silly easter outfits getting pictures. I went to my Aunt Helens for Easter today with my friend Shawna, and we even made a bunny cake just like (well almost just like) Grandma makes. We also tried out hand at Jello eggs but those went horribly wrong due to my inability to read instructions properly and measure, they never really sat up. All in all it was a fairly laid back weekend hopes yours was good.

Happy Easter!

I am at work this morning but things have slowed down considerably. Monday will be last minute clients scrambling to get their returns signed and out the door. We are having a big cookout at noon complete with kabobs and beer.

I hope that you all have a great weekend! I will be thinking of you. Maybe I will drive over to Dodge and see if Mom has a bunny cake this year?? Maybe I should learn how to make one of those things? Nahhhhhhh. Gotta run. Love to all.

weekend and me

Just a note to say hi to everyone. Weather here is great. Just showed Valerie how to make a pot on her little potter's wheel she got for Christmas. She did a pretty good job for the first time. I have been cleaning my studio and hope to get in there in a min. and do some actual clay work. I went a head and put in my application fee for the High Road to Taos show this fall, so now I actually have to work, right???

Pam...I am glad the tax season is about over. The 3 day weekend the end of the month sounds wonderful. I hope that you can make it this direction sometime this summer.

Well, no real news. Zan will be home this Wed. for a few days. That will be really nice. She will try and get up to Truchas....anyone care to go with her/??? Valerie does not know about it. It will be a surprise for her!!

Valerie had a great time on her cruise to the Bahamas!!! Hugged a dolphin and came home with little braids and beads in her hair!! Looks so cute. Hope D and Alan send pictures. If they do, will try and post one or two.

Well, gotta go see if I can get some work done. Love youall.....take care and have an awesome week. Cindy

Tax season countdown...10 days to go!!

I am working tomorrow and again next Saturday but don't really mind it as it is the last few chances for overtime this tax season. And...as some of us know, overtime is a good thing.

I am going to take off the Friday at the end of April and if the weather holds and God willing, I am going to work in the yard and plant some flowers and enjoy a 3 day weekend at home. That sounds real good right now.

The weather here has been crazy with almost 90 degree weather one day and 50 degrees the next with the lovely 50 mph winds. Bruce was suppose to have a track meet today but am almost sure it will be cancelled. There are schools in the area that are actually not having school today because of the high winds and the risk of having the busses on the road.

Quick update on Monica who sounded so pathetic over the weekend. Finally got a correct diagnosis of pneumonia and some new drugs and she is hopefully on the road to recovery. Gotta love that girl. One tough cookie and I consider it a gift to be able to be the one on the other end of the phone when she needs her mom. Just wish those dang cell phones calls were FREE!

That's all from here for now. My love to all of you and keep up the blog.

My lung and other problems.

Right about the weekend...mine was spent bent over in an L type position hacking and coughing as I have a small lung infection. Yes, it is fun. Yes, I am drinking lots of water, yep have the meds, yep going to the cartioligist tomorrow...so ya I have all the bases covered. Ask my mom, the cough can be amusing after a while, cause well it NEVER stops EVER! Um, other than the coughing I spent time laying, napping and whining to my mom on the phone. Hope everyone else is better than I am!

The Weekend

Hi everyone! How was everyone's weekend? Mike and I went to Yosemite for a long 4 day weekend! It was amazing! We hiked many many miles and we x-country skied for a little over 10 round trip miles on an amazingly, beautiful, blue skyed afternoon! Believe it or not it was my first ski in the sun! We stayed at the Wawona hotel just inside the park and it was so incredible! It was first opened in 1867ish! We ate in a dinning room that once served Presidents such as Garfield and historically famous Generals. You could feel the ghosts, it was so cool!!! We saw coyotes, one so close I could have opened my door and hit it. She stayed long enough for us to dig out the camera and take several pictures. I have a great picture that you all can view once we get the pictures up on Mike's website. I will send that link later. I hope all of you had wonderful weekends! I highly recommend a trip to Yosemite! Later
